When the Columbia (MD) Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority contacted ummhumm | creative studio to redo their website, we were very thrilled. A member of the chapter was a close friend from high-school, and since we had completed another website for her, we were happy to work with her again on a bigger and more high-profile website rescue.

We refreshed the user experience by highlighting the Sorority’s programs and events, since their outreach was massive within the Howard County, Maryland community. From educational and economical development to political awareness and international involvement, the Columbia Alumnae Chapter maintained a busy voice within the Pan Hellenic community. We utilized their logo colors to underscore their branding and carried the palette across the website for a consistent visual message.

ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant, a members only section, photos and events calendar help the chapter garner new members while staying in touch with existing one. Mobile friendly, quick page load times and back-end SEO further cement the website as current and easy to locate when users initiate a search.
